KFORCE - NATURAL BACTERIAL SUPPORT
A new treatment for bad breath

KFORCE uses BLIS K12 bacteria to stop bad breath and halitosisYou may have seen the television show A Current Affair on 13th September 2004. It featured a new treatment for bad breath discovered in New Zealand at the University of Otago by Professor John Tagg. Breezecare is proud to announce that BLIS K12 Streptococcus salivarius will be an integral part of its new KFORCE range of products. The research is so exciting that Breezecare and Dr Speiser believe that the new KFORCE Clean Mouthwash will change how people treat bad breath.

BLIS Technologies, a New Zealand Public Company recently completed trials using BLIS K12 on chronic bad breath sufferers, with the majority of subjects achieving good breath scores on the Halimeter even first thing in the morning before brushing their teeth.

Breezecare and Dr Speiser have been conducting their own trials in Sydney, and have also achieved an excellent success rate with BLIS K12. In fact our Sydney study had two exceptional results where one subject dropped their breath reading from 1400 to 250 in one week. The second person dropped their reading from 1150 to 150. These two subjects did nothing more than change some lifestyle choices and use the KFORCE Starter Kit containing S. Salivarius BLIS K12.

In the New Zealand Study thirteen subjects with high volatile sulphur compound (VSC) breath reading were recruited for the study. Eleven subjects showed significant improvement after the treatment and the average breath readings of these eleven subjects are shown below. All readings were taken in the morning prior to the subjects eating, drinking or using any oral care.

In the New Zealand Study 11 of 13 subjects had dramatic improvement of their halitosis

Two subjects showed no improvement with the treatment and it may be that the cause of bad breath in these subjects was due to causes other than an imbalance of oral micro flora or alternatively that a more potent antimicrobial pre-treatment may be required.

The KFORCE approach aims to provide users with fresh breath in a new unique way:

  • Initially reducing the number of undesirable bacteria by tongue cleaning and using a Chlorhexidine Gluconate Mouthwash.
  • Secondly using KFORCE Clean Mouthwash to freshen breath and help end bad breath
Maintaining this approach will aid in keeping a fresh clean mouth, low in plaque and tartar.
