Bad Breath is caused by bad breath
bacteria that live in a sticky coating called
a biofilm. This biofilm coats our teeth, gums,
tongue, throat and nasal passages every day.
The bad bacteria live in this biofilm and digest
proteins that are also present. From these
proteins the bacteria are able to make smelly

Big news for bad
breath and halitosis treatment: Professor
Tagg of Otago University in New Zealand
has discovered a specific mouth
probiotic that can release BLIS (Bacteriocin
Like Inhibitory Substance). This bacteria
is called Streptococcus salivarius
K12. It occurs in only 2% of the worlds
